Mrs.
Elizabeth Low of Putnam County died at a hospital in Indianapolis about noon
Thursday after undergoing an operation for appendicitis. Mrs. Low was a widow
of the late John W. Low, who died at his home in Putnam County last October.
Mrs. Low was taken to the hospital last Sunday and died at the above mentioned
hour. The remains were brought to Reelsville yesterday on a Vandalia train and
taken to home, two miles north of the Butler School House. The deceased leaves
to mourn her departure, one daughter and five sons, besides one sister, Mrs.
Dixon of Diamond and five brothers, Jacob Houser of Turher (?) and James Houser
of Casey, Ill. (darkly smudged) … ME
Church in Reelsville Sunday morning at 11 o’clock. Rev. Kirk will officiate
after which the interment will take place in the cemetery near the church. - kbz
