LOVETT, Mary - Putnam

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning for Miss Mary Lovett of Greencastle who died Sunday evening at the Ben Hur sanitarium in Crawfordsville. She was 78 years old. Miss Lovett had lived most of her life in Putnam county. She went to the sanatarium in November of last year after having been confined to bed since the preceding March. She had been in ill health for several years. She was the daughter of Thomas and Catherine Walsh Lovett. Surviving are three brothers; T. J. and W. D. Lovett of this place and Mike Lovett of Carthage, Indiana; four sisters; Mrs. G. N. Thompson of Delphi and Misses Kate and Nellie Lovett and Mrs. Charles E. Crawley of Greencastle, and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Catholic church in Greencastle where she was a member   --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated!
