LOPOSSA, Ruby Scott Branneman - Putnam

Ruby M. Branneman Lopossa, 90, Cloverdale, formerly of Eminence died Feb 17, 2007 at Putnam County Hospital in Greencastle. Born June 23, 1916 in Putnam County she as the daughter of the late James B. and Ethel (Truesdel) Scott.

She was the widow of Charles Edwin Branneman, whom she married Nov 6, 1934.  He died July 17, 1983.  She was also the widow of Robert E. Lopossa, whom she married Aug 27, 1986.  He died Nov 20, 2002.  She was the former owner of Silver Bell antiques in Cloverdale. She was a member of Cloverdale Church of Christ and Dine and Chat club. She attended Eminence HS. Survivors include a son, Richard Branneman of Cloverdale; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Edwin R. Branneman; two sisters, Betty Gash and Lucille Manaugh and a brother, Marcellus Scott. The service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Whitaker Funeral Home, 201 N. Lafayette St, Cloverdale. Brother Lowell Barr will officiate.  Visiting hours 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cloverdale Cemetery. - kbz
