Miss Virginia Lockridge of Raccoon, who was injured in a buggy accident several weeks ago while on her way to Mt. Meridian, died Saturday evening about 6 o’clock. She was recovering from the accident very well, but her blood became affected and the shock of the accident and her age formed a combination that made her recover impossible. Miss Lockridge was 75 years old. The funeral occurred this afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, services at the residence of Alex Lockridge and interment at Forest Hill cemetery- kbz

On Saturday evening Miss Virginia Lockridge died at the residence of her nephew, Mr. Alex. Lockridge from the effects of injuries she sustained some weeks ago by the overturning of a buggy in which she was riding, en route to Mt. Meridian. Deceased was 75 years of age; the funeral took place on Monday afternoon; burial at Forest Hill Cemetery. - kz
