LIPTRAP, Clarice Smith - Putnam

Clarice G. Liptrap, 85, of Greencastle, died Saturday evening in Putnam County Hospital. Born on Sept 16, 1906 in Corydon, she was a homemaker and had worked several years at the Angwell Curtain Factory in Greencastle. She married Chester A. Liptrap Nov 28, 1928. He died July 1, 1981.  Mrs. Liptrap was a member of First Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 255, both in Greencastle. She was a volunteer worker at the Putnam County Senior Center storeroom. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John C (Beverley) Sears of Fillmore; a brother, Cleo Smith of California and a half brother, Raymond Smith of Lafayette. – transcribed by kbz
