LINN, Stella - Putnam

Stella Linn, 92, died at 9 am Thursday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Testament at 1011 Danville Ave. with whom she had lived the past seven years. She had lived all her adult life in the Whitesville community and was a member of the Whitesville Christian Church and an honorary member of its circle. Mrs. Linn was born in Kentucky on Jan. 5, 1886 a daughter of William and Lucy Williams MYERS. She married Warner A. Linn in 1907. Surviving are a son, Edwin of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Christine WARD of Rt. 2, Crawfordsville; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister. Services are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday in Powers Funeral Home here with the Rev. Don Hainer officiating. Burial will be in Mace Knights of Pythias Cemetery.
