Lillie, Park - Putnam

Dr. Park A. Lillie, age 84 years, passed away early Saturday morning at his residence in Taylor township in Owen County. He had been in failing health for the past four years Dr. Lillie was born August I, 1867 in Clinton county, Iowa, the son of George and Emily Comstock Lillie. He was a graduate of Medical college and practiced in the Chicago area for several years. He was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Masonic lodge, and had been a resident of the Mill Grove community the past twenty three years. He was married to Gertrude Leslie in Clinton, Iowa. She preceded him in death in 1915. In 1917 he was married to Josephine Noble, who survives. Other survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Shaff of Clinton, Iowa. One son preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 10:30 o’clock from the Whitaker Funeral Home in Cloverdale. Rev. June E. Evans will be in charge. Burial will be in Cloverdale cemetery.  Friends may call at the Funeral Home at any time.
