Cleveland, O – Frank C. Lewman, former chairman of the board of Richman Brothers Company, men’s clothing firm and a native of Putnam County, Indiana died yesterday in his home in the Cleveland Suburb of Orange Village. He was 74 years old. Mr. Lewman was board chairman in 1950-55 and a director until last year.  He was with the firm for 50 years and was its president in 1936-1950. Mr. Lewman who worked in his father’s general store in Bainbridge, Ind as a youth was an accountant. He attended school while working at the Presto-O-Lite Company in Indianapolis. He went to Richman Brothers in 1913 on special assignment to install a more efficient mail room system. He was a director of the Society for Savings and a trustee of Medical Mutual of Cleveland and the Animal Protective League and served as chairman.

Entombment in Knollwood Mausoleum.
