Mrs. Frank W. Lane (sic), wife of James Q Layne (sic) of Mill Creek township died on Jan 8, 1896 of typhoid fever after a sickness of about two weeks. Deceased was a daughter of Dr. WA Layne of Montgomery County; she leaves a little son and husband. --– kbz
