Russellville, Sept 5 --- Walker Thomas Lawson, 76, died at his home here about six o'clock Tuesday afternoon following a brief illness. Mr. Lawson was a native of Salt Lick, Ky where he was born March 26, 1868 the son of Willey and Margaret Lawson. He was married to Jennie Keller, who survives in 1899 and was a member of the Federated Church here. Survivors in addition to the widow are three daughters, Mrs. Sarah Patterson, Greencastle, Mrs. Eliza Gilbert, Bento Harbor, Mich and Mrs. Stella Anderson, Russellville; four sons, Andrew, Noblesville; Robert, Avon; and Willie and John at home. Another son, Reuben died several years ago. He is survived by 21 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, also. Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Federated Church with Rev L.L. Bickett in charge. Burial will be at the Hebron Cemetery. - kbz

Lawson, Walter Thomas, age 76, died at his home at Russellville last Tuesday afternoon.  A native of Kentucky, he had lived in the community several years. The widow; three daughters and four sons survives; twenty one grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral was held Thursday, burial at Hebron Cemetery.  - mw
