Mellott - Services for Mrs. Minnie A. Lawson, 71, lifetime resident of the Mellott area who died early Tuesday evening in her home here, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the new Grenard-Servies funeral home. Burial will be in Waynetown's Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Lawson was born Sept 27, 1883, near Newtown, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hyatt. She was married to Marion Lawson July 25, 1903. She was a member of the New Antioch Christian Church, and of the Ladies' Aid Society of the church. Survivors include a son, Maurice L. Lawson, rural Otterbein; two daughters, Mrs. Berniece Thompson, Rt 1, Crawfordsville; and Mrs. Mildred Fletcher, rural Attica; a brother, John Hyatt, Hillsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Cooper, Russellville and Mrs. Bertha Hall, Veedersburg; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.   ---kbz
