The funeral of Charles Lasley who was killed in France July 20, 1918 and whose body was in the vault at Forest Hill Cemetery the past week was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Hadley, Indiana. The services were in charge of the Local post American Legion and Otoe Tribe No 140. Improved Order of Red Men, Rev. Levi Marshall, pastor of the Christian Church and acting chaplain of the Legion read the ritual. Members of the Danville American Legion and Red Men Lodge were present and took part.
