LARRABEE, Harriet Dunn - Putnam

The funeral services of Mrs. Larrabee took place at her residence last Monday  A long procession of her friends, followed her remains to the “Bower” where she was deposited by the side of her little daughter, Rosa.  

Born: 18 Jan 1806. Died 15 Jan 1959.  Married Sept 28, 1828 William Clark Larrabee ,a minister of the Methodist Episcopal Church.  He died later that year (May 5th) and according to FindAGrave, their daughter mentioned here Emma Rosabelle was born in Greencastle 12 Aug 1842 and died in Greencastle 6 May 1846 – they are all buried at Forest Hill.  Also according to FAGrave, the Larrabees named their home Rosabower in memory of Emma Rosabelle and in 1854, he wrote a small volume of essays entitled, “Rosabower!”
