LANE, Robert M. - Putnam

North Salem - Funeral services for Robert M. Lane, 61, former resident of this community who died Monday at a hospital in North Miami, Fla. are announced for 2 p.m. Friday at Porter Funeral Home. Rev. Harris of Danville will officiate and burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery.  Mr. Lane was a son of Ed and Dollie Sturgeon Lane and was born July 12, 1905 at Ft. Wayne. He was first married to Margaret Smith who died in 1962. His second wife, Betty survives.  Also surviving are a son, Robert of Miami; two daughters, Mrs. Jacqueline Blaydes and Mrs. Sandra Mohler of Danville and six grandchildren.  He was a member of the Elks Lodge.
