LANE, Della Mae Allen - Putnam

Mrs. Della Mae Lane, 84, 408 E. Jefferson St, a Crawfordsville resident for 40 years died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in her home. She was born Feb 11, 1879 near Roachdale and her paernts were William Walter and Eliza Stewart Allen. In 1896 she married Charles Lane. The couple farmed near Roachdale for many years before moving to Crawfordsville. Survivors include two nephews, Clyde Allen of Crawfordsville and Glen Allen of Naples, Fla and three nieces, Ruby Reed of Indianapolis, Mrs. Pearl GIlliland of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Helen Hanna of Naples, Fl. A friend, Mrs. Margaret Howard of Danville, Ind also survives. She lived with Mrs. Lane many years. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Powers Funeral Home with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Monday.
