Greencastle, Jan 23 – Funeral services were held today for Mrs. Clara Florer Lammers who died in St. Louis Sunday. Mrs. Lammers was born in Newport and attended the University of Minnesota and Wellesley College. She was a Kappa Kappa Gamma and was house mother for seven years at the DePauw University chapter house.  While a resident of this city, Mrs. Lammers taught in the public schools and was a member of the school board for nine years. It was largely through her efforts that Washburn Chapter DAR was organized here. She also was active for years in the Century and Over-the Teacups Clubs. A daughter, a sister and a brother survive. - kbz

Mrs. Clara Florer Lammers, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Seegar in St. Louis. Widow of the late Dr. F. H. Lammers of Greencastle. She was a D.A. R. member. Mrs. Wilbur C. Stewart of Greencastle is a sister, Professor Warren Florer of Ann Arbor, Michigan is a brother.
