KREHL, Gertrude "Girty" - Putnam

Mrs. HR Krehl, former matron of the children’s home in Greencastle, passed away suddenly Sunday following a heart attack. She had been making her home in Claremont, California. Mrs. Krehl lived in Greencastle about 15 years and Mr. Krehl died while they were living here. Funeral services were held in Claremont Tuesday afternoon.  Following the service the body was cremated. Remains were sent to Franklin Grove, Ill.
