KNOLL, Edith - Putnam

Mrs. Edith Knoll, widow of Henry Knoll, died suddenly at her home north of Greencastle on Road 43 Wednesday evening. She had been gathering eggs and collapsed and died within a few minutes. Mr. Knoll died on February 21, 1944.  She was born Jan 16, 1888 and had spent most of her life here.  Mrs. Knoll is survived by a daughter, Lorene at home; Mrs. Mary Ruddell, Kalamazoo, Mich and a son, William of Indianapolis.  There are six grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Blanchard Ellingwood of Pasadena, Calif.  The funeral services will be held from the Rector Funeral Home at two o’clock Saturday afternoon with burial in Brick Chapel Cemetery. - kz
