Rites for Mrs. Della M. King, wife of Rev. Walter L. King, retired Baptist minister who died yesterday at her home, 549 Somerset ave, will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Tabernacle Baptist Church with burial in Crown Hill.  Born in Putnam County, Mrs. King was active in many church, civic and charitable organizations. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, a charter member of the Riley Hospital Cheer Guild, member of the municipal garden’s woman’s department club, West side civic league, Indianapolis white shrine, Naomi Chapter, OES, mother’s club of Alpha Chi Omega sorority, and mother’s club of Phi Delta Theta fraternity. She was a former member of the woman’s department club and past president of the Parent-Teacher Association. Survivors besides Rev. King are a son, Aviation Cadet Walter C; two daughters, Mrs. Fred W. Hoffmark and Mrs. William H. Leggo both of Indianapolis; three brothers, Ross Hutcheson of Vincennes; Clyde Hutcheson of Greencastle and Oral Hutcheson of Reelsville; a sister, Mrs. William Boone of Reelsville; a granddaughter, Janet Ruth Hoffmark and grandson, William King Leggo both of Indianapolis.
