KINDER, Rachel Jones - Putnam

Rachel Armilda Jones was born near Waveland, Montgomery Co June  7, 1847. Her early life was spent in that community. At the close  of the Civil War she was married Milton F. Kinder on his return  from the ranks, in Aug 1864. They lived together during the most  of the remaining part of their lives in Russellville, Ind. To  them were born 9 children: 5 of whom are still living. Mrs. Kinder  was always a kind and obliging neighbor ever ready to lend a hand  of assistance where ever it was needed. She died  Oct 17, 1909. -- kbz
