KEY, William Woodson - Putnam

William Woodson Key, 69, of near here, died at Culver Hospital Sunday Morning. He was more familiarly known here as "Wig". He was born near Roachdale, the son of John and Luella Dodd Key and lived the greater part of his life here. Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Marie New of near here, and Miss Mamie Key of Indianpolis, Mrs. Wallace Byrd of this place, Miss Josie Key and Mrs. Julia Scobee, both of Lafayette, three brothers, Tazwell Key of North Salem, James Key of Danville and Frank Key of Mt. Carmel, Illinois. Funeral services were held at Chastain funeral home, Tuesday afternoon.
