Plainfield, Ind – Services for Elbert E. Kersey, 81, Plainfield will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel at Floral Park Mausoleum, Indianapolis.  Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home here is handling arrangements. He died Thursday in Hendricks County  Hospital, Danville. A native of Fillmore he lived in Plainfield 26 years. Mr. Kersey had been a machinist 33 years for the former EC Atkins & Co, Indianapolis and later had worked 12 years at the Indiana Boys School.  He retired in 1972. He was a member of Atkins Pioneers Club. Survivors: wife, Clara M; sons Richard and Anthony E. Kersey; daughter, Sharlene Davis.- kbz
