KENDALL, Philip - Putnam

“Portland Mills” news item – Philip Kendall, a citizen of long standing in this place, died on the 7th inst of lagrippe and complicating diseases. He was about 62 years of age and had lived here probably over 40 years. He was one of the leading members of the Christian Church and was an active member of Portland Lodge No 99, F&AM.  Having been master of the lodge frequently. He leaves a wife and three grown daughters to mourn his loss.
