Harriet Ann Stringer Kendall, daughter of Lorenzo and Mary Stringer, was born July 8, 1865 and died December 28, 1934. She married January 27, 1889 to Jesse Kendall and to this union was born five children, four of whom have preceded her in death. Survivors are the Husband and a daughter, Mrs. Lena Asher, two Grandchildren, her aged mother, three Sisters and four Brothers --- thanks so much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated!

Funeral services for Mrs. Harriet Ann Kendall, age 69, who died Friday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Homer Asher, 1639 North Temple Avenue with whom she lived were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the New Maysville Baptist Church. Burial was in New Maysville. Mrs. Kendall was the mother of Fred Kendall, New Maysville who was injured fatally in a sawmill accident a week ago. Survivors are the husband, Jesse Kendall; the daughter, Mrs. Asher and two grandchildren. - kbz
