Queensville – Calvert Kelley, 73, Queensville died at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ritz Nursing Home in Scipio where he had been a patient the past 5 months. He was a retired employee of Arvin Industries, Inc at North Vernon and was a veteran of the first World War. He belonged to Queensville Christian Church. Born May 5, 1892 at Greencastle he was the son of James and Alice Kelley. His wife, Mrs. Maude Esther Kelley died in January. Funeral rites were conducted today at Dowd Funeral Home by the Rev. TC Gonzalez, pastor of North Vernon Presbyterian Church. Survivors are three sons, Edgar Kelley of Scipio; Lawrence Kelley of Queensville and Harold Kelley of Madison and two grandchildren. - kbz
