KASSEBAUM, Frances A Blake - Putnam

Frances Arvilla Blake Kassebaum, 86, Indianapolis retired business woman died Dec 15. Mrs. Kassebaum owned and operated the Hoosier Gardener in Broad Ripple for 39 years and retired from Altum Gardens in 1989.  She was a member of Broad Ripple Methodist Church and was past president of Broad Ripple Business and Professional Women’s Association. She was also past matron of Order of the Eastern Star, Broad Ripple Chapter.  Memorial contributions may be made to the church.  Services will be at 10 a.m. Dec 18 in Flanner & Buchanan Broad Ripple Mortuary, with calling from 2-8 p.m. Dec 17.  Burial will be in Union Chapel Cemetery. She was the widow of Jean C. Kassebaum Survivors: sons J. Charles, John H Kassebaum; sister, Maxine Kiser; brother Keith Blake; five grandchildren 8 great grandchildren. - kbz
