Mrs. George W. Jones died of stomach trouble at her home west of the city on Saturday evening. She leaves a husband and one child. The funeral took place last Monday at the home, Dr. Tharp officiating. The burial took place Tuesday at Russellville, where the family formerly resided. Note: He died later in the year (born 8 July 1843 died 5 Aug 1900). – transcribed by kbz
