Williamsport – Former local
resident, Louis William Jones, 54, of Greencastle, died Saturday in Hendrix
County Hospital of injuries suffered a few hours earlier in an automobile
accident near Plainfield. Born in Warren County, he was a 1938 graduate of
Williamsport HS and a member of Williamsport Methodist Church . In 938 he was
married to Artis Arlene Long who survives. Mr. Jones, a veteran of WWII, had
been employed by the Branch Express Co. in Greencastle for 19 years. Surviving
with the wife are three sons, David of Brownsburg, Stephen of Bainbridge, Kim
at home; two sisters, Richardene Tanner of Williamsport, Janice Bauserman of
Ft. Wayne and two brothers, Gary L of Boswell, Donald B of Lafayette. – kbz
