JOHNSTON, James A. - Putnam

The funeral of James A. Johnston, who died in an Indianapolis hospital Saturday night was held from the Greencastle Christian Church Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Levi Marshall. The pallbearers were Lewis Koessler, Greencastle; John and Samuel Johnston of west of Greencastle, Daniel Koessler of Matoon, Illinois; George Johnston of Indianapolis and John Miller of Connersville.  All the pallbearers were uncles of Mr. Johnston. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery. - kb
