Clayton R. JOHNSON, 62, died at 4 p. m. Wednesday after a long illness. Born March 27, 1897 in Russell Township, he was a son of Elmer and Cordelia Clodfelter Johnson. He was a member of Russellville Christian Church and Masonic Lodge. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Blanche Griffin of Danville; a brother, Cyril Johnson, Greensburg; 3 aunts, Mrs. Ona Harbison of Russellville, Mrs. Tilla Ballard of Wayneton and Mrs. Mirta Johnson of Fairfield, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Jo Johnson of Greensburg. Funeral services will be held Friday monring at 11 from the McGaughey & Son Funeral Home in Russellville. Interment will be in the Hebron Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

He was a member of Russellville Christian Church and Masonic Lodge. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Blanche Griffin of Danville; a brother, Cyril Johnson of Greensburg; 3 aunts, Mrs. Ona Harbison of Russellville; Mrs. Tilla Ballard of Wayentown and Mrs. Mirta Johnson of Fairfield, Iowa; a sister-ih-law, Mrs. Mary Jo Johnson of Greensburg. Funeral services were held at 11 Friday at the McGaughey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Robinson of Greencastle Hanna Street Baptist Church in charge. Burial was in the family lot in Hebron Cemetery. The Russellville Masonic Lodge provided the flower and pall bearers. Those serving as pall bearers were: Alva Carrington; Floyd Gardner; Ernest Wilson; Fred Belles; Raymond Harbison and Walker Ramsay.

Clateon Russell JOHNSON, son of Elmer and Cordelia Clodfelter Johnson, was born in Russell Township March 27, 1897 and departed this life April 1, 1959, aged 62 years 5 days. He spent his active life in this township as a farmer. He accepted the Lord as his Saviour in 1911 during the ministry of Rev. TH Kuhn and remained firm in the faith once delivered unto the saints. He was a member and past Master of the Russellville Masonic Lodge and believed in the moral and spiritual concepts of the order. He had been hospitalized for over two years and serious since Saturday. His parents and brother-in-law Homer preceded him in death. He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Blanche Griffin of Danville; a brother, Cyril, a sister-in-law Mary Jo of Russellville, and five aunts; Mrs. Ona Harbison of Russellville, Mrs. Tilla Ballard of Waynetown; Mrs. Mir!
