Services for Charles Ernest “Ernie” Johnson, 87, Indianapolis will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bainbridge Christian Church with calling until 8 tonight in Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home at Greencastle. Mr. Johnson, formerly of Bainbridge, died Saturday. A graduate of Univeristy of Illinois, he worked at Allison Gas Turbine 20 years, retiring in 1972. He previously co-owned Bainbridge Grain & Feed until 1951. He was a member of the church and Bainbridge Masonic Lodge. He was the widower of Marie Lefforge Johnson. Survivors – son Richard; daughter Virginia Pegg; sisters Esther Turpen, Gertrude Ruch; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren - kbz
