JOHNS, Ethel - Putnam

Greencastle, Ind – Ethel F. Johns, 92 of Greencastle died July 11, 2007 at Mill Pond Health Campus. The Scottsville, KY native was born Aug 29, 1914. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Boone Dock Pals Extension Club, both of Greencastle.  She was a former member of Madison Township Farmers Association.  She was a daughter of the late John Fishburn and Mary Keen Fishburn. She married Hubert Goff who preceded her in death. On Sept 21, 1963, she married Arthur E. Johns, who preceded her in death in 1978. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Howard and James Goff and 11 brothers and sisters.  Funeral is at 1 p.m. EST Saturday at Immanuel Baptist Church with graveside service at 3 p.m. EST Saturday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, Ind. Visitation is from 4 – 8 p.m. EST today at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home and begins at noon EST Saturday at the church.  Condolences may be e-mailed to inhpr@keystonegroup . com.
