JENKINS, Henry - Putnam

Old FATHER JENKINS died at the home of his daughter, MRS. W. E. GAMMON last Sunday night, after a long sickness of nearly five months. MR. JENKINS was eighty-nine years old and for several years had been totally blind. The funeral services were conducted at the home of his daughter on Tuesday morning. He leaves two children in this county, MR. W. H. JENKINS and MRS. GAMMON; also an aged wife [Rachel].

Henry & Rachel Jenkins lived Putnam County Indiana before moving to Decatur County Iowa. Henry son of Elijah and Elizabeth Myers Jenkins who are buried in the Parks/Jenkins Cemetery.
