JEFFRIES, Claud B. - Putnam

Claud B. Jeffries, 59, died at Putnam County Hospital Monday morning April 11. Funeral services were held at the residence east of here Wednesday afternoon. Burial was made in Roachdale cemetery. He was born here August 7, 1878 the son of George C. and Sarah Merchant Jeffries. On November 30, 1903, he married Anna S. Horn. He was a former Trustee of Jackson Township. The widow; one son; Allen Claire Jeffries of Terre Haute; three grandchildren; Anna Mae, Allan Claire Jr. and James Claude Jeffries survive   -- thanks so very much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated.
