JEFFERIES, Nellie Iva Hargan - Putnam

Nellie Iva Hargan, was born October 8, 1877, the eldest of two daughters of Thomas and Mary Vashti Bartlett Hargan. She died December 12, 1936, at the age of 59 years 2 months and 5 days. On November 7, 1894, she married Walter Jefferies, oldest son of James K. and Mary Moody Jefferies. To this union was born three children; Theresa Inez who died in infancy, Tressie Pauline and Herbert Raymond. Her only sister, Bertha Dodds live in sight of the ancestral home. Funeral services were held December 12, with internment in Roachdale cemetery   --- thanks so very much to Marilyn Walker for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated.
