Audie JACKSON, who with his wife operated Jackson’s Restaurant at Russellville died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday at his home. He was 62. Born Feb 21, 1900, he was a son of Frank and Frances Burdine Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a member of the Russellville Christian Church & Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Lillie; a son, Max of Russellville; a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Simpson of Waveland; two brothers, Edgar of Seattle, wash and Lester of Russellville; 3 sisters, Mrs. Lucy Kelley of Mountain Home, Idaho; Mrs. Mildred Pantos (only two listed) of Elwood; and 3 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McGaughey & Son Funeral Home, Rev. Byron Basin, pastor of the Russellville Christian Church officiated and interment was in Russellville Cemetery.   -- kbz

Audie Jackson, 62, died December 9 at Russellville. He was born February 21, 1900 the son of Frank and Frances Burdine Jackson. Survivors are the wife, Lillie, son Max of Russellville, a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Simpson of Waveland; two brothers, Lester Jackson of Russellville, Edgar Jackson of Seattle, Washington, three sisters, Mrs. Sophia Bayless of Mountain Home, Idaho; Mrs. Mildred Pantos of Elwood; Mrs. Lucy Kelly of Russellville; three grandson, Darrell and Dane Jackson and Cathy Simpson.
