Roachdale, Ind – Glenn W. Irwin, Sr.
90, Roachdale, died Tuesday in Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr.
Irwin retired two years ago from the Irwin’s Drug Store which was established
in 1893 by his father. He was graduated from Purdue University School of
Pharmacy and was the last survivor of that school’s class of 1911. He was a
member of Roachdale Presbyterian Church, Lions Club and Masonic Lodge. Services
will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Roachdale Funeral Home where friends may
call from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today. Survivors include
his wife, Elsie Browning Irwin and a son, Glenn W> Irwin Jr Indiana
University vice president for Indianapolis.
