HUTCHINS, Rebecca - Putnam

Sunday afternoon marked the passing of one of Roachdale's oldest citizens, Mrs. Rebecca HUTCHINS. She was born in Fort Recovery, Ohio in 1835 and should she have lived until next Friday she would have reached the age of 92. Mrs. Hutchins retained her faculties in a remarkable manner. She was a great reader and was keenly interested in current topics. The greatest concern of her life was the welfare of her family. She inspired them with the higher ideals of lfie and always encouraged them in their efforts. She is survived by two children, Foster of Indianapolis and Lincoln of Roachdale, besides her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Roachdale Methodist Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The casket will be open to friends at the church from 1-2 in the afternoon.
