Monroe City – Ross A. (Hutch) Hutcheson 87 of 123 W. Indianapolis Ave, Vincennes, died at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at a Vincennes Nursing Home following four years of declining health. He was born near Greencastle, Ind on Nov 24, 1883, the son of James A. and Lucy Sublett Hutcheson. He was a well-known carpenter in the Knox and Putnam County areas. Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Loti A. Bonewitz Hutcheson; three sons, Earl Hutcheson of Reelsville; Richard Hutcheson of Mooresville, Lloyd Hutcheson of Huntsville, Ala; three daughters, Mrs. Austin (Reba) Bonewits and Mrs. Carolyn Emmons, both of Indianapolis; Mrs. Kathryn Theaman of Mesa, Ariz; 21 grandchildren 26 great grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A son and daughter preceded him in death. Friends may call at the Donaldson-Richardson Funeral Home in Monroe City from 2 – 10 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday from the Rector Funeral Home in Greencastle. Burial will be in the Hutcheson-Boone Cemetery. - kbz
