Greencastle March 20 – Phillip Hutcheson, Jr, 85 years old, RR 2, Greencastle, died Monday at Putnam County Hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks. A native of Kentucky, he was a retired blacksmith of Manhattan and a member of Big Walnut Baptist Church. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Craft of Reelsville, Mrs. Louise Johnson of RR 1, Reelsville; Mrs. Lorene Ellis of Glenolden, pa and Mrs. Lelia Comer, living in California; five sons, Ira H of RR 1, Greencastle; Walter of RR 2, Greencastle, Woodrow of Greencastle, Orville of Detroit, Mich and Claude of RR 1, Fillmore; 30 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. The body is at Rector Funeral Home where services will be at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon with burial in Manhattan cemetery. – kbz
