HUTCHESON, Madaline Hamilton - Putnam

Last rites were held in Brazil at 1 o’clock Monday afternoon for Mrs. Madeline H. Hutcheson, 47, of Brazil Route 2, who passed away Friday in the Clay county hospital after a year’s illness. Burial was in Forest Hill cemetery in this city. Surviving are three daughters. Mrs. Carolyn Moore of Brazil and Misses Eula and Nelva Hutcheson, at home; two sons, Wayne Hutcheson of Brazil and Pvt. James W. Hutcheson, in the Army; the mother, Mrs. Mary M. Hamilton of Greencastle; four brothers, Leverette, Charles and James Hamilton, all of R. R. 1, Brazil, and Omer Hamilton of R. It. 3, Greencastle; five sisters, Mrs. Nora Gantz of DuQuoin, Ill, Mrs. Grace Ratcliff of R. R. 4. Brazil, Mrs. Olive Hutcheson of R. R. 1, Fillmore, Mrs. Edwina Thompson of Greencastle and Mis. Melvina Pell of Harmony: four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
