The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away blessed be the name of the Lord.  Amanda Ellen Hurst, wife of Pleasant Hurst and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Wood was born in Mill Creek Township, Putnam County Aug 12, 1859 and departed this life Oct 4, 1909 being 50 years 1 month 22 days old.  She expressed her faith in Christ. - kbz
