HUNT, Mary Rebecca - Putnam

Mary Rebecca Hunt, 102, Indianapolis died Wednesday in Indianapolis.  Born Jan 11, 1893, in Coatesville, she was the daughter of Stephen and Minnie Wright Hunt.  Miss Hunt was a teacher in Waveland, Frankfort, New Winchester, French Lick and Chicago, Ill.  She was a member of the Irvington United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and New England Women.  She was a 1914 graduate of DePauw University.  Survivors include niece Mary Turner, Indianapolis and nephew Maurice O. Hunt, Greenwhich, Conn.  She was preceded in death by brother Merwyn Hunt.  Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Hendryx Mortuary Cumberland Chapel. Burial will follow at Coatesville Cemetery. Friends may call one hour before services at the funeral home.  Note: Some of the sources indicate born in Hendricks County while others say Putnam. - kbz
