HUMPHREY, Mae Pearl Sears - Putnam

Mrs. Mae Pearl Humphrey, 80, Elizabeth Street, died Monday at the Putnam County Hospital where she was admitted on Saturday. She was born on October 10, 1894, in Putnam County, the daughter of Al and Eva (Cox) Sears.

Survivors include her husband Earl H. Humphrey; a son Keith, Greencastle; seven daughters, Virginia Crowe, Wilma Leonard, Phyllis York, Norvetta Rogers, all of Greencastle; Coleen Hayes, Crawfordsville; June Wethington, Wingate; Mabel Humphrey, Indianapolis; 18 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; a brother Roy Sears, Greencastle. A son, Donald Dale, preceded her in death.

Private services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Rector Funeral Home, with burial in Brick Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p. m. today.
