Services for William Acy Hughes, 47, former Indianapolis
resident will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the Chastain Funeral Home, Roachdale
with burial in Roachdale cemetery. He
died yesterday at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. A farmer, Mr. Hughes lived near Roachdale.
Formerly he was employed at Prest-O-Lite Co here and at one time he operated a
restaurant in Roachdale. Survivors are the widow, Maude Hoosier Hughes; four
sons, Norman Hughes, North Salem; William A. Hughes Jr. and Allen Hughes at
home and Richard Hughes, Roachdale; a daughter, Wilma Zimmerman; his father,
Clarence Hughes, Roachdale; two brothers, Forest Hughes, Indianapolis and
Harold Hughes, Roachdale and 8 grandchildren. - kbz
