HUGHBANKS, Odell - Putnam

Brazil, Ind – Odell C. Hughbanks, 53 of rural Reelsville was found dead by his wife, Anna May at 5:45 p.m. Friday in a barn at their home.  He was an employee of the Cecil Modesitt Farms and a former employee of the Atlas Mutual Insurance Corp of Indianapolis.  Besides the widow, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Charles Gore, RR 5, Brazil; two sons, Sp 4 Larry Hughbanks of the home; two stepsons, David and Daniel Stamper at home; his mother, Mrs. Clara Hughbanks of Terre Haute; two sisters, Mrs. Clarence Chambers of Orange, Ill and Miss Othell a Hughbanks of Terre Haute and a brother, William Hughbanks of RR 5, Brazil. Friends may call at the Lawson Funeral Home after 6 p.m. Sunday. Services will be there at 2 p.m. Monday with Rev. Jesse Ball officiating. Burial will be in Manhattan cemetery. – kbz
