Mary Alice Hart Faller Houston, age 63 years 3months and 6 days, daughter of Thomas J. and Mary Hart was born February 3, 1871 at Bainbridge. She died May 9, 1934. She first married Albert Faller of Roachdale April 8, 1889, there were four children born to them; one son Earl Faller of Tulsa, Oklahoma and three daughters; Mrs. Carl C. Maynard, of Muncie; Mrs. J. Waring Cowell of Chicago; and Mrs. Bert R. Coid of Nubiebe, Colorado. She then second married John Houston of Sparta, Illinois on April 8, 1924. Besides the husband and children she is survived by an aged mother, Mrs. Nan Hart, of Ladoga, eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren ---- thanks so very much to Marilyn walker for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection

Mary Alice Hart, daughter of Thomas J. and Mary Hart was born at Bainbridge, Ind Feb 3, 1871 and departed this life at Sparta, Ill on May 9, 1934. She was 63 years 3 months and 6 days of age at the time of her death. She was first united in marriage to Albert Faller of Roachdale April 8, 1889. To this union were born 4 children: one son, Earl Faller of Tulsa, OK and three daughters, Mrs. Carl C. Maynard of Muncie; Mrs. J. Waring Cowell of Chicago and Mrs. Bert R. Cold of Nubleber, California. She was again united in marriage to John Houston of Sparta, Ill, on April 8, 1924 with whom she lived until her death. Besides the husband and children, she is also survived by her aged mother, Mrs. Nan Hart of Ladoga, 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mrs. Houston had not been ill and died quite suddenly, being sick only about 15 minutes. She had been at the home of a neighbor sewing and came home and prepared lunch. After lunch she was seized with a coughing spell and heart attack. The neighbors heard her coughing and called a physician but she lived only 15 minutes after he arrived. -– kbz
