HOUSTAN, William K. - Putnam

Bedford, Ind Jan 5 – William K. Houstan, only son of Mrs. George M. Dodd of this city scion of one of the most prominent pioneer families according to word received in this city died of suffocation in his apartment in Cincinnati, Ohio this morning.  He had spent the holidays in this city.  He talked to his mother in this city last night and indicated that he was all right and later talked to his brother-in-law, CV Link of Cincinnati tellin him he would be out for dinner today.  He was unmarried.  The mother and one sister, Mrs. CV Link of Cincinnati who is visiting in this city survive.  The body will be brought to this city tomorrow for burial and the funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon..    --- transcribed by  kbz
