The death of Mrs. Mary Hoover aged Greencastle resident occurred this morning at her home 305 Elm Street after an illness of two weeks.  Death was caused by infirmities of advanced age.  She was i1 years old and was the widow of the late JB Hoover who died in 1912.  Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. William M. Ellis of Chicago, Ill and a son, Dr. Loren Hoover of Decker and two grandchildren.  Funeral services will be at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.    ~~~transcribed by kbz

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hoover, who died at her home on Elm Street Monday morning were held from the home this afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. C Howard Taylor pastor of the Methodist Church in charge.  The body was placed in a receiving vault at Forest Hill Cemetery and later will be interred at Union.  Pall bearers were Clay Brothers, Fred Masten, James Lamber, JE Courtney, Joe Allen, Jr and William Herod. A quartet with Mrs. CW Otis in charge furnished the music. Among those from out of town who attended were the son, Dr. Loren Hoover and Mrs. Hoover of Decker and the daughter, Mrs. WM Ellis and Mr. Ellis of Chicago, Ill; Mrs. FE Looney of Carbondale, Ill; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Henry Plass of Decker and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hoover of Chicago.   ~~~transcribed by kbz

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Hoover were held from the residence on Est Elm Street, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Dr. C. Howard Taylor in charge. The body was placed in the receiving vault at Forest Hill Cemetery and later will be removed to Union, Ind for interment. Pallbearers were: Clay Brothers, Will Herod, Fred Masten, JE Courtney, DJ Lambert and Edward Plass.   ~~~transcribed by kbz
