HOOVER, Eva

Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 27 July 1900

Miss Eva Hoover was born in 1861, and departed this life July 29, 1900, aged 39 years. She had only been sick a few days, but during that brief time was a great sufferer with that dreadful disease, heart failure. At the age of twelve years she united with the Christian Church and has ever since lived a pure, noble, Christian life. Although her life was somewhat lonely, she was inclined to look on the bright side of everything and always had a pleasant smile and a kind word for everyone. She leaves a brother, sister, and a large circle of friends to mourn her loss, but their loss is her gain. Funeral services were conducted at Hebron Church Saturday afternoon by her pastor, J. C. Ashley. Her remains were laid to rest in the Hebron Cemetery.
